Library is considered as the heart of every academic institution. Now, in the era Information, Communication and Technology, Library is continuously changing its role to keep pace and library professionals eventually have modified themselves to serve the users in a more efficient way. May be Google can provide thousands of results of a question within 0.37 seconds but library professional can provide you the right answer in right time. To enhance the access facility to the patrons, Central Library of our college holds a large number of physical collection of resources including 46000+ books journals, magazines etc. has extended its service from Reading Room to Home issuance of books, from e-resource access through remote login to digital library access. E-resources through N-LIST, Oxford University Press are being subscribed. An initiative has been taken to make a digital library accumulating the open access books and digitizing copyright free books available in the library to satisfy the need of the library users. Institutional Membership to British Council Library has been taken to facilitate our students with more resources.

Recently, our library has implemented Koha ILMS to provide Web-OPAC facility as well as to accommodate users with their individual login ID to communicate with library staff on the web regrading library services and the whole system involves e-governance. Wi-Fi facility in Reading Room is also provided to the users for academic purpose. Personalized Reference Service, helps in research work is also intended to provide. Library Reading hours has also been extended from 7:30 AM to 6 PM. Extension activities like Celebration of Important day, Earn While You Learn scheme, Visit to noteworthy place, Orientation Program, Cultural Competition, Seminar, Best Library User Award etc have been initiated to motivate and enrich our beloved students.
